Negative training method

๐Ÿ’ก Did you know that every muscle movement consists of a positive (concentric) and a negative (eccentric) phase? For example, when pulling up on a pull-up bar, your biceps work concentrically, while when lowering down on the pull-up bar, they work eccentrically.

๐Ÿ‹๏ธ Important to know: In the negative phase, the muscle can apply much more force than in the eccentric phase. As a result, negative strength training has a stronger influence on muscle building than regular strength training due to the higher stimulus effect.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you want to increase your maximum strength and achieve faster muscle growth at the same time, you should include negative training in your workout planning. What's the easiest way to do that? With our EGYM strength machines! Simply select the Negative training method on the machine and get a whole new intensity in your workout.
